Olympic Sunglasses

Everyone knows how much fun it is to include the Olympics into your classroom, so why not get crafty with it too?

These Olympic sunglasses are fairly cheap to make and the children will have so much fun with them once their made!

All you need are:

  • A pair of sunglasses - can be cheap kids ones.
  • Glue - PVA.
  • Different colour foam - preferably in the colours of the Olympic Rings.
  • Scissors.
So, first of all cut out the circles in each of the colour foams - you can do this ready for your students or they can do them. If you want them to be more round either find round objects to draw around or print out circles to use as templates.

Glue the back of each circle and push the circle onto the glasses. Overlap the circles so that they stick together too and overlap like the Olympic rings.

Leave to dry - we usually place under a heater to speed up the drying process. Once fully dried and secure, you're free to use your glasses! :)
