Seller Spotlight Sunday: Shifting Teacher K-2

Welcome to my Seller Spotlight Sunday.
Every Sunday on my blog there is a guest post from another fabulous TpT Seller. They will be sharing one free resource from their store, one paid resource from their store and something that they have been up to that week or similar!

So, don't forget to check back every Sunday or sign up for my email list to get notifications of new sellers!

Up this week is Christin W from Shifting Teacher K-2!

Hi, I’m Christin from Shifting Teacher K-2.  I currently teach kindergarten (and LOVE it)!  But I have also taught first and second grade.  Most of my experience is in kindergarten – I love watching these kiddos learn how to read and write for the first time!  It’s VERY rewarding!

Shifting Teacher K-2

I wanted to share with you a resource that I created this year to help my students learn their sight words.  Our county has adopted the Wilson Fundations program and in kindergarten we are asked to teach it to fidelity.  I do like the program for my students that have limited alphabet knowledge coming to school.  It gets a little challenging for my students who come to school already recognizing sight words and reading some.  But, these activities have helped keep them engaged by recognizing and spelling each of the trick words from the kindergarten fundations units.

There are 5 different activities for each word. The activities are broken down into groups of three words a piece.

1. Find and Color2. Sort similar words3. Roll and Write4. Sentence Scramble 5. Sentence Fluency (sentences for students to point and read)

{FREEBIE} Trick Word Pack (and, the, a)

I divided the trick words into “weeks” and included 3 trick words per week.  So for this freebie – you will get all of the activities for the words and, the, a.  If you like it, there is a link inside to purchase the whole pack that includes 9 weeks of activities with the following words: the, a, and, are, to, is, his, has, as, was, we, she, he, be, me, I, you, they, or, for, of, have, from, by, my, do, one.

One of my newest creations is for the spring!

Spring Math Stations

My kiddos needed more practice with fractions and counting in different ways so this Spring Math Stations pack was born!  If you like this pack, I do have one for each of the seasons as well as a bundle to help save some money!  Here’s what’s include in this pack:

1. St Patrick’s Theme graphing station
2. Easter Theme count the room station.
3. Fraction Dice roll and Color.
4. Counting dimes Station
5. Counting base ten blocks station

If you like these, I do have several other activities in my store for free but many, many other activities for a decent price!  I hope you will come over and visit.  If you like what you see, click the star at the top of the page to follow my shop and be updated when I post and new product!

We have been very busy learning about life cycles with Eric Carle books this week.  Take a look at some of our adventures!

A huge thanks to Nikki for letting me be a guest blogger today!
