Spotlight Seller Sunday: Mabel Math

Welcome to my Seller Spotlight Sunday.
Every Sunday on my blog there is a guest post from another fabulous TpT Seller. They will be sharing one free resource from their store, one paid resource from their store and something that they have been up to that week or similar!

So, don't forget to check back every Sunday or sign up for my email list to get notifications of new sellers!

Up this week is Linsey Abel from Mabel Math!

Hi there!  I am Linsey from Mabel Math.  I am a high school math teacher and I currently teach Algebra 1, AP Statistics, AP Calculus, and PreCalculus.  I love finding new and fun ways to engage my students in the classroom!

In AP Statistics last week we created and tested helicopters to gather data to practice finding confidence intervals.  Here is an awesome video of my students flying their helicopters (special effects and editing by one of my students)!

Task cards have become a new favorite activity I started using in my classroom this year!  I love how versatile they are and how they allow for movement in the classroom.  I use my Linear Equations Task Cards (a free product I have available on TPT) in my Algebra 1 class as a review activity on the day before our Linear Equations Test.

My best selling resource is a common core aligned set of 5 word problems that involve writing, graphing, and interpreting systems of inequalities for problem situations.  My students find this activity challenging and engaging as they work together in collaborative groups to understand and master systems of inequalities.

Thank you Nikki for the invite to post on your blog!  I can be found on facebook, pinterest, and Mabel Math blog.
