Five for Friday 4.12.15

I can't believe it's Friday again! The weeks are going by so quick that I keep forgetting to keep up with my weekly five for friday!  The weeks have been so busy that I actually don't know what to include anymore! So here goes!

We had our School Christmas Fete this week. All the classes make something to sell at the Fete, we always go with sweets but we also done slow cooker hot chocolate this year!! I make all lovely labels for the sweets and call them funny things like 'elf poo' 'olaf poo' 'how to build a snowman' 'santa kisses' 'grinch pills' etc - they go down a storm and the kids LOVE them! But, the slow cooker hot chocolate was definitely the favourite this year, it went down a storm! :)

It's literally SO easy to make - we had three slow cookers on the go!

All you need to do is add;
4 pints of milk
175g hot chocolate
half a pot of cream
1 very large dollop of nutella

put it on high for 2 hours - stirring it every 10 minutes....

and there you have it, Nutella Slow Cooked Hot Chocolate! Everyone was saying how absolutely it amazing it tasted!! We left it on high from 2 through til about 4.45 and then put it onto warm for the rest of the evening (it only lasted until 6 though as we pretty much sold out straight away!)

On our table we also had biscuits to go with the hot chocolate, whipped cream and mini marshmallows, we also had hot chocolate packs to sell.

These were my favourite part of our sweet stall this year;

All the staff wear Christmas jumpers for the fete (as we man the stalls). This is my fave one, I had it last year and I just can't find one that I like more than it! I love the little bells that jingle on the bottom of the candy cane heart too!

So, next up.. I have been getting very creative so far this year, ready for Christmas and the hampers that I make. Here are the candy sleighs that I have put together... they're almost done they just need some ribbon to hold them altogether now!

So, last week was the cyber sale on TpT, I hit a few personal milestones that I never thought I would reach, so I was feeling pretty overwhelmed and chuffed with it all. But, MOST OF ALL, I bought the most WONDERFUL planner that's just sure to keep me organised! It's from malimo mode and you can view it here. I've already put it altogether and made myself a cute front cover..

I love to be organised so this is just going to be fabulous for me! I also invested in lots of clipart - one of which being the build a teacher set from Melonheadz (found here) and the accessory set. I used this to build a mini me to go on my front cover! I LOVE it! :)

We have been VERY busy in School this week, doing lots of fun Christmas things, one of which being these fabulous reindeer mallow pops and christmas pudding mallows! They are SO easy to make and went down a STORM! The kiddos LOVED making them!

And finally, we have been learning about the Nativity. We made the following picture for Nativity...

It looked absolutely gorgeous when it was made! It was a little fiddly to put together - staff had already cut all the pieces out before the activity took place so it was just the putting it together that the children done!

If you're learning about the Nativity, don't forget to check out my Nativity bundle available here.

Don't forget to head on over to Doodle Bugs Teaching and check out what everyone has been up to this week!
