Five for Friday 23.10.15

Can you believe it's Friday again?! For real!!
And, this was my last day in work for one whole week. Yep, that's right, we are officially on our October half term - one whole week of pure bliss.
Although, in my mind that'll mean I have lots of blogging and TpT to catch up on :)

So, as it's Friday I'm linking up with the fabulous Doodle Bugs Teaching for her Five for Friday linky. I love taking part in this every week and seeing what everyone has been up to!

Halloween is fast approaching, we have been making these pumpkins in class - so easy to make! All you need is an outline of a pumpkin, stick it in a laminating sheet, get the kiddos to cut and stick orange+yellow pieces of paper in the pumpkin shape, add a mouth and eyes, stick it through the laminated and vwa la! I know, one only has one eye. Don't ask!

My craft activities have been really popular the past couple of months so I decided to get one done for Halloween. The kiddos LOVED making these and getting to write/draw on them too. If you want a closer look, check them out here.

As most of you will know from previous posts, our topic this term is The 3 Little Pigs. We link everything to our topic; art and crafts, cookery, literacy, numeracy, science etc. Whatever we do, it's all linked to the topic. The kiddos made these 3 little pig masks/puppets and had so much fun!

We always have visitors rave about our displays, here is one of our math ones - the robots foot has fallen off, or should I say - pulled off!! The red box is covered in straws and one of our kiddos has taken a liking to it - wanting to pull it down all the time to touch the straws! LOL!

Well, I can finally share my super excited secret with y'all! This week I guest blogged on Rachel Lynette's amazing blog - Minds in Bloom. It was SO exciting, I worked really hard on the blog post and was praying that it would be a big hit! I was so nervous, you wouldn't believe!! I actually couldn't believe it when I got accepted to guest post! I am so grateful to be part of this TpT and Blogging journey, making so many fab friends but also working with so many fabulous educators who want to push you and help you achieve your dreams!

You can check out the blog post here.

Don't forget to check out what everyone else has been up to this week!
