My Summer Vacation, Part 2

So, because my Summer vacation was crazy busy, so I decided to split it into two parts. The first part has already been uploaded; Orlando. If you missed it, be sure to go back and check it out! Well, at least if you like reading about peoples travel stories anyway!

So, after Orlando we went to New York. I had always wanted to go to New York, and of course Nathan wanted to go watch the SummerSlam (Wrestling) queue snoozing face. Wrestling is so totally not my thing.

So, the deal breaker was for us to go watch the Giants too!! I love the Giants, I'm not really sure why, I started to get into the NFL a few years back and decided to go with the Giants, something about them just drew me in, I can't explain it, but I love it!

We stayed at the Hilton, Midtown. It was a nice hotel, they let us check in early, would I return? No. Was it worth the money? No. I'm not one that likes to leave a bad review so let's just leave it as that and go on to more positive parts of the vacation..

So, the first night we landed we went to the Giants game, I was in my element!

Then the next day we headed over to Statue of Liberty before going over to the stadium for the first night of Summerslam. It was crazy busy, people go crazy for wrestling I'm not really sure why? They all take it so serious!

Anyway, as we headed back to the hotel we suddenly realised just how crazy Times Square is at night! Everyone comes out all of a sudden! There were a lot of bad costumes with people asking for tips for photos etc. The costumes were just too bad I couldn't face photos! But I did like the look of this Superman Minion!

The next day we went for a stroll around New York, we went to the Empire State Building, Central Park and then back to the hotel for a chill. I had a night in with some yummy pizza while Nath went for the second night of Wrestling - I seriously couldn't even go for a second night - no way!

We found this lovely pizza place called 99c pizza - omg it was stunning! If you're ever in New York, be sure to pop in and order. Best pizza I have ever tried!

On our last day we headed out for some shopping and food in the Hard Rock Cafe. For months I have been winging that I wanted a build a bear minion, when we stumbled across it in Toys R Us! I was so chuffed! Of course, I had to be the crazy one who wanted to dress the minion in NYG clothes! Nobody thought they would fit and we were told about the proper minion clothes, but I was adamant and by the end of it - so was the worker! So here is my fab NYG minion! He has pride of place with the rest of my collection!

Anyway, we are most definitely back to reality now! Our next holiday is booked for March and we can not wait! We are doing 2 days in Dublin, followed by 1 week in Orlando followed by 4 days in Texas - can't wait!
